O’100 – Class of 2025: Cameroon’s top 100 students revealed

The 2025 class of the O’100 program is now official. It highlights 100 talented young people selected through a rigorous process that combines academic excellence, civic engagement, and regional diversity.

  • West: 54%
  • Far North: 12%
  • Littoral: 7%
  • Center: 6%
  • Northwest: 5%
  • Southwest: 5%
  • Adamaoua: 4%
  • South: 3%
  • North: 2%
  • East: 2%

Distribution by level of education

  • Bachelor’s degree: 41%
  • Engineering degree: 34%
  • Master’s degree: 21%
  • Doctorate: 4%

Distribution by type of institution

  • Public institutions: 86%
  • Private institutions: 14%

This diversity illustrates the vitality of Cameroon’s education system and the commitment of a youth determined to progress.

A demanding evaluation process

Each application was analyzed according to several key criteria:

  • academic excellence,
  • consistency and quality of the course,
  • civic or community involvement,
  • structured recommendation,
  • performance on the final multiple-choice test.

This methodology ensures a fair and transparent selection process that focuses on the candidates’ actual potential.
